Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
