The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 when the earth shakes off her burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
