The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 Raging Fire. 11
