AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 Indeed your Lord only will raise them all on the Day of Resurrection; indeed only He is Wise, All Knowing. 25
