۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
