And indeed We rescued the Descendants of Israel from a disgraceful torture. 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 We knowingly exalted them (i.e., the Children of Israel) above other peoples of the world 32 And We vouchsafed unto them signs wherein was a manifest favour. 33 Yet these say: 34 "There is nothing but our first death, and we shall not be resurrected. 35 So then, bring forth our forefathers [as witnesses,] if what you claim is true!" 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not. 39 Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all of them, 40 The day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
