The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a hot blazing Fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
