O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and fulfill My covenant [upon you] that I will fulfill your covenant [from Me], and be afraid of [only] Me. 40 And believe in that I have sent down, confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve in it. And sell not My signs for a little price; and fear you Me. 41 Do not confound truth with falsehood, nor knowingly hide the truth while you know. 42 And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and Irka' (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allah) along with Ar-Raki'un. 43 ۞ Will you bid others to piety, and forget yourselves while you recite the Book? Do you not understand? 44 Find strength in fortitude and prayer, which is heavy and exacting but for those who are humble and meek, 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
