And certainly We lodged the children of Israel in a goodly abode and We provided them with good things; but they did not disagree until the knowledge had come to them; surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that in which they disagreed. 93 So, if thou art in doubt regarding what We have sent down to thee, ask those who recite the Book before thee. The truth has come to thee from thy Lord; so be not of the doubters, 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Those against whom the Word of your Lord will be realized will not believe, 96 though every sign come to them, till they see the painful chastisement. 97 Why has there been no habitation that believed and profited by their faith, except the people of Jonah? When they came to believe, We removed from them the affliction of shame in the world, and made them prosperous for a time. 98 Had your Lord willed, whosoever is in the earth, all would have believed. Would you then constrain people until they believe? 99 No soul can believe except by the will of God. He will place the filth [of doubt] upon those who do not use their reason. 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 What can they expect other than the kind of (punishment that befell the disbelieving people) who had gone before them? (Muhammad), tell them, "Wait and I too will be waiting with you." 102 Then (in the end) We save Our Messengers and those who believe! Thus it is incumbent upon Us to save the believers. 103
