It is He who sends down to you out of heaven water of which you have to drink, and of which trees, for you to pasture your herds, 10 With it He causes to grow for you the crops, the olives, the date-palms, the grapes, and every kind of fruit. Verily! In this is indeed an evident proof and a manifest sign for people who give thought. 11 And He hath subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Verily therein are signs for a people who understand. 12 And what He has created in the earth of varied hues most surely there is a sign in this for a people who are mindful. 13 And He it is Who hath constrained the sea to be of service that ye eat fresh meat from thence, and bring forth from thence ornaments which ye wear. And thou seest the ships ploughing it that ye (mankind) may seek of His bounty and that haply ye may give thanks. 14 He set firm mountains upon the earth lest it should shake with you; and rivers, and roads, in order that you are guided. 15 as well as [various other] means of orientation: for [it is] by the stars that men find their way. 16 Is the One who can create equal to the one who cannot create anything? Why, then, will you not consider? 17 Even if you wanted to count up all of God's blessings, you would not be able to. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you disclose. 19 Those whom they call upon beside Allah have created nothing; rather, they themselves were created; 20 They are dead, not living; nor do they know when they will be raised to life. 21
