Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
