And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
