Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he attacked them, striking with his right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
