We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
