Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true, 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By heaven with all its tracks 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
