The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 Then none will be able to deny its occurrence. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 And extended shade, 30 and flowing water, 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for those on the Right, 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
