The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
