Elucidated (Fussilat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ha Mim 1 A sending down from the Merciful, the Compassionate. 2 The verses of this Book have been fully expounded. It is a reading in the Arabic language for the people of knowledge. 3 A herald of good news and a warner, but most of them turn aside so they hear not. 4 They say: “Our hearts are securely wrapped up against what you call us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between you and us there is a veil. So act; we too are acting.” 5 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a human being like you. It is inspired in me that your Ilah (God) is One Ilah (God - Allah), therefore take Straight Path to Him (with true Faith Islamic Monotheism) and obedience to Him, and seek forgiveness of Him. And woe to Al-Mushrikun (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, idolaters, etc. - see V. 2:105). 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 (As for) those who believe and do good, they shall surely have a reward never to be cut off. 8
