1/4 Hizb 50
< random >
۞ And when a description of the son of Marium is given, lo! your people raise a clamor thereat. 57 saying, "Are our gods better or him?" -- they cite him only to challenge you: they are a contentious people -- 58 He was no more than a servant: We granted Our favour to him, and We made him an example to the Children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other. 60 And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path. 61 And do not ever let the devil stop you; he is indeed your open enemy. 62 When Jesus came with Clear Signs and said: “I have brought wisdom to you that I may make plain to you some of the things you differ about. So fear Allah and follow me. 63 Assuredly God is my Lord and your Lord; therefore serve Him; this is a straight path.' 64 But certain groups created differences among themselves. Woe to the unjust. They will face a painful torment. 65 Await they aught save the Hour, that it shall come upon them suddenly, when they know not? 66 On that Day close friends shall become enemies of each other, except those who fear (Allah). 67

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
