۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
