Hizb 38
< random >
Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So fear Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
