The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 you shall be divided into three parties, 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 and gushing water, 31 And abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 And made them virginal, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 for those on the Right, 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
