The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Cursed were the people of the ditch (the story of the Boy and the King). 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 Him, Whose is the dominion of heavens and the earth. And Allah is over everything a Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 of Pharaoh, and of [the tribe of] Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 upon an imperishable tablet [inscribed]. 22
