And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment." 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him (back) his people, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who have Understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 LET [all] this be a reminder [to those who believe in God] - for, verily, the most beauteous of all goals awaits the God-conscious: 49 the Gardens of Eden whose gates shall be open to them, 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
