The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 Abasing exalting. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining thereon, face to face. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 and shade extended, 30 Gushing water, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
