Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
