Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He is created from a water dripping, 6 That issueth from between the loins and the breast-bones. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then he shall have no power nor any helper. 10 By the heaven with its recurring cycle of rain, 11 And the earth which opens up (with verdure), 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And it is not a frivolity. 14 Indeed the disbelievers carry out their evil schemes. 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
