Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
