When We exchange a verse for another and Allah knows best what He is sending down they say: 'You are but a forger' No, most of them do not know. 101 Say: 'The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down from your Lord in truth to confirm those who believe, and to give guidance and glad tidings to those who surrender' 102 And indeed, full well do We know that they say: "It is but a human being that imparts [all] this to him! - [notwithstanding that] the tongue of him to whom they so maliciously point is wholly outlandish, whereas this is Arabic speech, clear [in itself] and clearly showing the truth [of its source]. 103 Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah, Allah does not guide them for them is a painful punishment. 104 They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars. 105 He who disbelieves in Allah after his having believed, not he who is compelled while his heart is at rest on account of faith, but he who opens (his) breast to disbelief-- on these is the wrath of Allah, and they shall have a grievous chastisement. 106 That is because they love the life of this world more than the Hereafter; and Allah does not guide those who are ungrateful to Allah for His favours. 107 Those are they whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up, and they take no heed. 108 No doubt they shall be losers in the Hereafter. 109 ۞ Then lo! thy Lord - for those who became fugitives after they had been persecuted, and then fought and were steadfast - lo! thy Lord afterward is (for them) indeed Forgiving, Merciful. 110
