O apostles! eat of the good things and do good; surely I know what you do. 51 Your religion is one and I am your Lord. Have fear of Me". 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they imagine that the wealth and children We have provided 55 We hasten unto them with good things (in this worldly life so that they will have no share of good things in the Hereafter)? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And those who give what they give and their hearts fear for they have to return to their Lord. 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, their hearts are in overwhelming ignorance with respect to it and they have besides this other deeds which they do. 63 Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring! 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 My revelations were recited unto you, but ye used to turn back on your heels, 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Have they not pondered the Word, or hath that come unto them which came not unto their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it that they recognised not their apostle, and so of him they become deniers? 69 Or do they say, "He is possessed"? Nay, he has brought them the Truth, but most of them hate the Truth. 70 And if the Truth had followed their desires, verily the heavens and the earth and whosoever is therein had been corrupted. Nay, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they now turn away. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
