Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the swift scatterers 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Woe to the liars 10 Who are lost in deception. 11 They ask; "When will be the Day of Recompense?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 In heaven is your sustenance, and also that which you are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23
