Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares the glory of Allah, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 1 His is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; He grants life and deals death; and He has the power to will anything. 2 He is the First and the Last, the Clear and the Hidden. He has knowledge of all things. 3 He it is who has created the heavens and the earth in six aeons, and is established on the throne of His almightiness. He knows all that enters the earth, and all that comes out of it, as well as all that descends from the skies, and all that ascends to them. And He is with you wherever you may be; and God sees all that you do. 4 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Him are all matters referred (for judgement). 5 He causes the night to enter into the day and the day to enter into the night. He has knowledge of the thoughts of the innermost of the chests. 6 Believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allah's Way), theirs will be a great reward. 7 How is it with you, that you believe not in God seeing that the Messenger is calling you to believe in your Lord, and He has taken compact with you, if you are believers? 8 He it is Who sendeth down unto His bondman manifest signs that He may bring you forth from darknesses into the light; and verily Allah is unto you Tender, Merciful. 9 And what is the matter with you that you spend not in the Cause of Allah? And to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah) (with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all, Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. 10
