Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 [But,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves amid gardens and springs, 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They slept very little during the night 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
