Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
