In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 shall find himself in a happy state of life; 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
