The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth, counting it over, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
