O ye who believe! Take your precautions, and either go forth in parties or go forth all together. 71 There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them." 72 But if good fortune comes to you from God, such a person is sure to say - just as if there had never been any question of love between you and him: "Oh, would that I had been with them, and thus had a [share in their] mighty triumph!" 73 ۞ Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the Hereafter, fight for the cause of God; whoever fights for the cause of God, whether he is slain or is victorious, to him We shall give a great reward. 74 And what aileth you that ye fight not in the way of Allah and for the oppressed among men and women and children who say: our Lord! take us forth from this town whereof the people are wrong-doing, and appoint us from before Thee a patron, and appoint us from before Thee a helper! 75 Those who believe fight in the way of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the way of the Shaitan. Fight therefore against the friends of the Shaitan; surely the strategy of the Shaitan is weak. 76
