۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah – then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 Yet when He removes the evil from you, lo! a party of you associate others with their Lord; 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them only is the evil state; and the Majesty of Allah is Supreme; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 60
