۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
