Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
