We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
