The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
