Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
