Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
