The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
