Al-Nesaa 16 of 24
Surely, We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, so that you will rule between the people by that Allah has shown you. So do not be an advocate for the traitors. 105 Seek forgiveness from God. He is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 106 Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime: 107 They may hide (their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (them) from Allah, for He is with them (by His Knowledge), when they plot by night in words that He does not approve, And Allah ever encompasses what they do. 108 Lo! it is ye who have contended for them in the life of the world; then who will contend for them with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who shall be their champion? 109 He who does evil or wrongs himself and then asks forgiveness of Allah will find that Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin, he only commits it against his own soul; and Allah is Knowing, Wise. 111 And anyone who commits an offence or a sin, then charges an innocent person with it, shall certainly bear the guilt of a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
