The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 that will neither make the head throb, nor intoxicate, 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire to eat; 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Neither out of reach nor yet forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And have made them virgins. 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
