۞ Say: I exhort you only to one thing, that rise up for Allah's sake in twos and singly, then ponder: there is no madness in your fellow-citizen; he is only a warner to you before a severe chastisement. 46 Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness." 47 Say: 'My Lord hurls the truth -- the Knower of the Unseen.' 48 Say: The truth has come, and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back. 49 Say: "Were I to go astray, I would but go astray [due to my own self, and] to the hurt of myself; but if I am on the right path, it is but by virtue of what my Sustainer reveals unto me: for, verily, He is all-hearing, ever-near!" 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 then they will say, "We now believe in Him." But how will they attain to faith, having gone so far away from it? 52 For they had disbelieved in it before; and they hurl allegations without seeing, from far away. 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
