3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, give me one of the righteous.' 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
