The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 and thus they fulfil the [Creator's] behest! 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 While eyes are downcast 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 "Even after we are crumbled bones?" 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 But all it will take is a single blast, 13 When, behold, they will be in the (full) awakening (to Judgment). 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 Then [Musa (Moses)] showed him the great sign (miracles). 20 but the Pharaoh rejected it and disobeyed (Moses). 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 you pay attention 25 Verily, in this is an instructive admonition for whosoever fears Allah. 26
